It's all about... Books!

Hi everyone! Today I went to Weesp, a village where they had a special occasion. There were lots of little markets, bandstands, eateries and suchlike. It was really fun - though the markets weren't thát interesting. They had all of the standard things there, so there's nothing special I bought there.

However, in Weesp they also have a thrift store - and since we always visit that shop whenever we're there, we visited it today as well. Just as always, I bought some stuff there. And the special subject/things I want to talk about today, is- (yes, come on, try to guess)

Books!

I mostly just adore the thrift store because of the bookselection they have there. Since books are quite expensive (like good Romans are around the twenty euros - each) it's quite... difficult to buy new books whenever you finished the others. I mean, your money is gone at some time. But, then we have the thrift store, a place where you can find incredibly much cheap books in all sort of genres. Today, I bought three new books (all underneath the price of 2.-) and one little chest for 2,50. Really cool and incredibly cheap - as I mentioned before.

The books I bought are:

  • Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (In the English Language, yes)
  • Forgotten Realms - Servant of the Shard - The Assassin/ The Drow (Yes, one book (fantasy) lol. Idunno which one is the real title, so I decided to type down simply just everything
  • Geestverwanten (A Dutch book, something about a Love/Ghost story.

For people who are actually interested in my bookshelf, here is a quick few. Not all of my books are revealed there, though. I've some more hanging around in the secret corners of my messy room!

This is the chest I bought by the way. It's completely unusable and I've no idea where I'm going to place it in my room since I don't have any space left, but I had to buy it since I'm highly obsessed with everything that looks old, mystical and awesome - which it does. I like those medieval boxes and such.

So, my question is. What do you guys think about books? Do you like reading, or not at all? And if you do, which genre do you like, and do you prefer REAL books or eBooks? How many money would you spend for a nice good book? Please, let me know by a comment!

Honestly, I prefer real paper books instead of eBooks. This will probably sound insane and ridiculous, but I highly adore the smell of books (especially the sweet smell of old books) and I just love it to feel the paper whenever I have to flip to the next page. When I'm reading an eBook, it's less exciting for me - and it makes it much harder for me to drift into the story. No eBooks for me. NEVER!

I got my Creepers!

Dear all living creatures! Since this morning, I finally have my long-wanted shoes: Creepers! It honestly took me ages to get them. I saw them on tumblr when I was.... on tumblr? and I just fell in love with them, instantly. So I began to search, and search, and search, and then- Poof, I found them. Forty-five euros on a secondhandshopsitething. Normally, they are around hundred euros I thought- but yay, I found them for less in the exact good size (37/38 for people who are actually interested in my shoe size. You'll never know what's wandering around in your blog. Carry on!)

Anyhow, the thing is, I finally got my shoes - because it really took me ages to confirm my mother to buy them for me. In the very first beginning, she found them incredibly weird. Bút, after a month (yes, a month) of begging and pouting, she bought them for me, and I received them this morning. A guy with brown curls delivered them, and I'm sure he's scared as hell by now since I was screaming like the girls do whenever they receive they Zalando-boxes-things.

Here they are, pam pam pam...

My highly beloved creepers! They look cute, don't they? Be honest. What do you think of them? Some people stared at me today, like when I went out to a fastfoodshop. They were like: Da*uq is she wearing on her feet? Well, these things... Haha.

Of course, I had to combine them with an outfit - and since my closet is nearly dying - I couldn't find the proper clothes. Luckily, I found a big sack of random clothes behind my almost dying closet, and I found some stuff I quite liked. After all, this is what came out of it (Please, imagine the shoes with it xD The mirror wasn't large enough. Honestly, it isn't even mine)

*The reason of the Censored thingy is because my eye was doing da derp, and it was quite disturbing... And oh, please, don't- That odd knot on my head, that's my secret radio-antenna, so that hopefully explains a lot

Well, that's it for now. My first "Fashion" *cough* post (sort of)

Too many -

I think almost everybody has them - otherwise you wouldn't be human, I guess. Thoughts. They can be great, since they make you imagine things, and think which can me handy and fun of course. But now, now we also have the tormenting thoughts, which haunt you what made you almost unable to sleep properly. Right now, I'm having those thoughts - mixed up with stress, since upcoming Tuesday I'll have to go to school again, Sadly, it isn't going to be my usual school. Since I graduated, I had to chose something completely else, which I did. I have to move on up to another lever to develop my skills. I've got to work soon, get myself money, growing up. I never really thought about it, honestly. It's only now that I begin to realize nothing will be the same again as it used to be.

Long time no see

There I am, back - after such a long time. Honestly, I totally forgot that I had a blog, but when some people suddenly reminded me that I had one, I was like: "Hé, let's look back at my blog again."
I have to say, that the things I wrote in the past look incredibly shitty. Anyhow, I hope I'll have more interesting things to say from now on - since I want to use my blog again, this time for real!

Several people asked me to create a blog for my short stories - also known as Scraps - which I post on Facebook sometimes. So, I'm going to use this blog for my random little stories as well from now on. Since I'm busy with some fanfiction - written in English - I think I'll post it in here as well. I've nothing else to do with it anyway.

I really want to share with you guys, what I've bought a few days ago. I haven't received them yet, though, but I will soon - probably tomorrow (or at least, that's what I hope). Pam pam pam... here they are:

Creepers! I'm sure about the fact that mostly of you will think they are the most oddest shoes in the world - since I've heard that a lot while showing them. But, lets all be realistic, it quite explains the name. Honestly, I ADORE them, and I can't wait to wear them. Only the cute little lacy socks are missing, but of course that can be fixed in time, hahaha.
