However, in Weesp they also have a thrift store - and since we always visit that shop whenever we're there, we visited it today as well. Just as always, I bought some stuff there. And the special subject/things I want to talk about today, is- (yes, come on, try to guess)
Books!
I mostly just adore the thrift store because of the bookselection they have there. Since books are quite expensive (like good Romans are around the twenty euros - each) it's quite... difficult to buy new books whenever you finished the others. I mean, your money is gone at some time. But, then we have the thrift store, a place where you can find incredibly much cheap books in all sort of genres. Today, I bought three new books (all underneath the price of 2.-) and one little chest for 2,50. Really cool and incredibly cheap - as I mentioned before.
The books I bought are:
- Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (In the English Language, yes)
- Forgotten Realms - Servant of the Shard - The Assassin/ The Drow (Yes, one book (fantasy) lol. Idunno which one is the real title, so I decided to type down simply just everything
- Geestverwanten (A Dutch book, something about a Love/Ghost story.
For people who are actually interested in my bookshelf, here is a quick few. Not all of my books are revealed there, though. I've some more hanging around in the secret corners of my messy room!
This is the chest I bought by the way. It's completely unusable and I've no idea where I'm going to place it in my room since I don't have any space left, but I had to buy it since I'm highly obsessed with everything that looks old, mystical and awesome - which it does. I like those medieval boxes and such.
So, my question is. What do you guys think about books? Do you like reading, or not at all? And if you do, which genre do you like, and do you prefer REAL books or eBooks? How many money would you spend for a nice good book? Please, let me know by a comment!
Honestly, I prefer real paper books instead of eBooks. This will probably sound insane and ridiculous, but I highly adore the smell of books (especially the sweet smell of old books) and I just love it to feel the paper whenever I have to flip to the next page. When I'm reading an eBook, it's less exciting for me - and it makes it much harder for me to drift into the story. No eBooks for me. NEVER!
